Kundalini Yoga San Diego 3HO

Meherbani Kaur Khalsa

Meherbani Kaur Khalsa first met Yogi Bhajan in 1969 while attending UCLA and began studying with him shortly afterward. From 1972 to 1984, she lived at various ashrams, studying with teachers like Guru Singh from Los Angeles, Guru Charan Singh from Millis, and the musician Vikram Singh from San Diego. She has practiced and taught Kundalini Yoga most of her adult life and has traveled with her family to over 35 Summer Solstices. Here she has worked with the children’s program both as a teacher and as an administrator. Besides being a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, Meherbani also practices and teaches Yogi Bhajan’s healing art of Sat Nam Rasayan. She has been studying with Guru Dev Singh, founder of the School of Sat Nam Rasayan, for fifteen years and is one of a handful of practitioners that have been designated by Guru Dev Singh as teachers of this modality. In 1994 she and her husband founded the Kundalini Yoga Center in San Diego dedicated to the advancement of the individual through science, education and spiritual development, which opens at 3:45 daily for morning Sadhana. She teaches a weekly Sat Nam Rasayan® class, hosts and promotes several monthly classes and events for 3HO San Diego, as well as special concerts, intensives, seminars and community events. She has been married for 30 years, has three grown children and three grandchildren. She also runs a full time preschool out of her home. She is a board member of 3HO Foundation in San Diego established in 1972 and its chief financial officer.
